BeeSafe Biotech Inc. is pleased to announce that Jenna Letain has been selected as a recipient of the Innovation Catalyst Grant (ICG) through the Government of Alberta. BeeSafe Biotech is one of three University of Lethbridge-founded ventures represented in Cohort 3 of the ICG program, which supports emerging science-based entrepreneurs as they transition innovative research into commercially viable ventures.
This milestone funding, which began in January 2025, enables us to dedicate full-time efforts towards the development of our rapid diagnostic platform for detecting honey bee viruses, an important step forward in addressing pollinator health challenges.
The ICG provides both financial resources and business mentorship to support technology development and market readiness. The BeeSafe team would like to thank everyone who assisted us throughout our application and extends sincere appreciation to all supporters, with special recognition to Dr. Luc Roberts for his continued mentorship.
